Jarrod is a belligerent alcoholic whose's severe diabetes cost him his sight. While spending his days in a hospital ward, Jarrod discovers his younger brother, who he doesn't much care for, has turned over his dog to the pound where it'll be euthanized in a few days. Jarrod's escapes from the hospital in a last ditch effort to save his dog but hot on his trail is Thomas, a medical attendant, sent after him to bring him back. What ensues is a game of cat and mouse and an unlikely bond that as both men confronting their demons. This film was developed with the support Telefilm Canada & The Canada Council for the Arts. |
